The Photographer
Let's answer some questions so you get to know who's behind the camera and what drives me. Here is the short list of those things. Number One and Two will never change, They are rock solid and are my "CAN'T LIVE WITHOUTS."
Number One...God! I really love photography... like, a lot....but not more than I love God. Nothing else even comes close. He is everything. I would not want anything else in this list without Him in it. I am thankful every day for His grace and mercy in my life.
Number Two...my family. Boy oh boy,.. I am extremely blessed with my wonderful husband and three amazing children. I have been married to Charlie for 9 years and my kids fill me with joy and pride.
Number Three...I love to laugh and have a good time, especially when I am photographing my clients.
Number Four...Chocolate shakes! I might be hitting the gym soon, but chocolate shakes are a staple to a happy diet.
Number Five...I love to dance, Dance has always been my outlet for creativity and for expressing raw emotions without using words.
Number Six...I am Brazilian, living in America for 10 years.

I’m from Brazil, transplanted to US since 2007, and subsequently “stuck” since my husband is a teacher at the community school in Culver IN… My husband and I wrangle three wild children who are getting too big too fast. My youngest daughter (now five years old) has food allergies, so I’m involved in anything food allergies related. I volunteer at my boys school, and love it. My main goal is to eventually figure out how to juggle my kids, husband, my house… and of course, my photography business.
My kids tend to eat me alive on a daily basis, so it’s still a balancing act between business and family. Life isn’t balanced yet, but I hope to eventually get there.

Following me gets you a daily mish-mash of photographs, escapades of being a mom of three, life around the lake Max, touched with food allergies, married to a teacher….IT’S JUST ALL OVER THE PLACE. There’s beauty in chaos, right?
I cannot begin to tell you how much I love being a senior photographer! Although I really enjoy being creative and taking the pictures, I think that what I love most about it is getting to know so many amazing young people and being an important part of their senior year. It really is my heart's desire that your senior portrait session will be more than just an appointment, but that you will be left with lifelong memories of having fun, feeling beautiful (or handsome) and creating a special time with your mom or dad or friends.
I know that as a senior you have a huge checklist of things that need to be done...so many deadlines. It is always my goal, wish and prayer that a photo session with me will leave you feeling amazing about yourself. I strive to make the experience one that you will never forget. I have some big ideas for FKSP. I'm just getting started, so this will grow, but I'm so excited to start snapping away!
